We love our community! Come and make pottery with hand building or make pottery at the wheel. We also offer paint-your-own pottery group time and paint & sip workshops too! Spend time creating with friends, family or coworkers! Mud Hen is excited to share our space with you to host a fun and creative event for your loved ones, team, or family.

Common Event Questions

How many people are needed and what is the max?

Special events require a minimum of 10 people. Groups smaller than 10 people can still have their event but must pay the rate for 10 guests. We will not prorate or reduce event rates due to our own overhead costs. We can accommodate up to 50 people max at our business at one time.

How much are events?

Events for our clay workshops start at $55 per person and our pottery painting workshops start at $20 per person.We also offer our large back patio space as well! Contact us today to customize your group!

What kind of events do you host?

We have hosted a number of different event types ranging from birthdays to bridal showers. We will do our best to accommodate your event needs. Common party types are: Birthdays, Bachelor/Bachelorette, Bridal Showers, Team Building and more.

What is included in my event cost?

Each event type includes an instructor-led class, a private space for your event, and a minimum of one Social Hour. You can add more of any offerings on an as-needed basis, assuming we can accommodate the requests. Seating is provided for each person doing pottery in our outdoor area. We allow one table for every 5 people in your party. Parents of young children are welcome to sit outside while their children are participating, but we ask that you stay in the allotted space to support our business.

Can I bring food?

Food and beverages can be consumed in our back patio area, but we don’t allow prepared-on-location food options like a taco stand. Food is restricted to our outdoor space only, as it protects our space for patrons that follow.
